Toby’s Alignment is a family owned and operated business having served the Palatka area for 50 years and counting offering honest, reliable and dependable service. Since opening in 1974, we have maintained loyal, satisfied customers with over 90% of our customer base being repeat customers. We take great pride in our work, offering top-quality service at a fair price! Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are longtime dedicated employees who have been instrumental in developing our outstanding reputation. The seven full-time mechanics at Toby's have over 180 years of combined experience and have been a part of the Toby's team for many years. In addition to tires and wheels, Toby's specializes in alignments, brakes, CV axles, shocks and struts, tire rotations and balancing, suspension repairs (ball joints, bushings, tie-rod ends, pitman arms, idler arms, etc.), oil changes, and service checkups. We are well-known for our front-end alignment skills, tire services and repairs, oil changes, and customer service. We were recently voted Putnam County’s #1 tire store!

Ray, the owner of Toby's, has built a successful and reputable business with the help of his wife Nancy and son Justin, whom have worked alongside Ray for many years sharing in his expertise and knowledge of mechanics. Recently, their daughter Alicia, joined the family business. Ray's interest in mechanics began at just 8 years old when he dismantled and rebuilt go-kart and motorcycle engines for fun. Ray's auto repair career officially started when he was 14 years old working at a service station performing oil changes and tune-ups. His passion for mechanics soon evolved into rebuilding cars, when at age 16, he rebuilt his first car, a 1970 Chevelle. Ray’s love for cars has continued throughout his life restoring street rods and muscle cars as a hobby. As a result, Ray has passed on his passion for old and fast cars to his family who all personally own street rods and muscle cars. In fact, Justin, with the help of his father, just recently completed his first very own restoration of a 1931 Model A sedan.

We are centrally located and serve customers in Palatka, FL and the Putnam county area, as well as Palm Coast, St. Augustine, Daytona, Keystone Heights, Orange Park, Jacksonville, Gainesville, Ocala and Green Cove Springs, FL. We are a full-service tire and wheel retailer, as well as an automotive repair facility. We carry the best in brand name tires, such as MICHELIN®, BFGoodrich® and Uniroyal®, among many others. Toby’s Alignment is open for business Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. No appointment is necessary – we operate on a first come, first served basis.
